The specialist panel manufacturers have in recent times made great improvements in the fire-resistant qualities of the composite panels, using materials such as mineral fibre and Polyisocyanurate foam.
Working closely with the manufacturers ACM are able to supply and install Insulated Fire Walls and Fire Compartments within buildings wherever there may be a potential fire risk.
These walls can provide up to two hours fire protection according to BS476/part 22 E1 using high performance mineral fibre cored composite panels, which are available in a range of colours and finishes. Also they are compliant with the requirements of the Loss Prevention Council Board (LPCB)
Independent research has shown that these firewall panel systems can be constructed over ten times quicker than block work or stud and board walls, and they are pre-finished and require virtually no maintenance.
These panels are ideal for use in constructing non-load bearing walls that require a fire resistance, either as partitions or compartments, and will meet the requirements as stated in Building Regulation Approved Document B.
